If you can stop hep c from replicating would it be possible to wash it out of your body?
The human body gets new blood cells every 90 or so days.I know that selenium acts as a birth control pill to the hep-c virus and so does grapefruit juice.If you can stop the virus from being able to infect any new cells then wouldn’t they die along with the cells they are living in?
Unfortunately, hepatitis C lives in other body cells besides the blood cells, like in lymhocytes and cells in the liver. When a cell with the virus dies and breaks up, the virus is often released into the circulation (plasma) and can then infect other body cells, not just red cell. So, the answer to your question is NO.
