Skin Protectant
My son is a 1ry old and is drooling allot..to the point where his chin is always red..someone told me that A&D?
Ointment (dipaer rash ointment and skin protectant) is ok to put on his chin? is this a good idea? i know its for a diaper rash i wasnt sure if its ok to put on his chin?
He is probably getting his first year molars. LOTS of drool for those.
I would just use Vaseline instead of a diaper cream. I don’t know what the active ingredient is in the diaper cream, but I know Vaseline is non-toxic.
I did use A&D cream on my son’s cheeks when they got windburned, but he couldn’t lick his cheeks.
You could also use regular chap-stick. Just rub it on his chin instead of lips.
