What is the treatment for methane gas poisoning?

In Wisconsin, a mother of three cannot get treatment for herself and her children. She called her mom (3/30/07) to let her know she called the non-emergency number to a local fire department and explained what was happening. Someone from the fire department went to the home to inspect the basement and discovered raw sewage and the presence of methane gas. The young mother has gone to a local hospital twice for help for her and her children. She called the poison control center, and searched the Internet and found a note from a man asking the same question—years ago. She could not believe no one responded. She and her children are out of the house, and staying with family. Nothing has been reported about the two older children; but, she and her 1-year old daughter are showing signs of methane gas poisoning.
